  • Providing daily operational oversight for the IT resources while strategically planning for the future IT needs of a World Class Healthcare Company.
  • Created a scalable IT platform able to support the rapid growth of Prasco with over 18 years of satisfied customers, transactional partners and business stakeholders.
  • Developed a risk mitigation strategy with both on-site fail-over and offsite disaster recovery.
  • Technical leadership of the companies first B2C and B2B e-commerce sites, along with the technical oversight of 7 websites including hosting, design and maintenance.
  • Negotiated vendor contracts resulting in savings of $100,000 per year for IT services.
  • Implemented SAS-70/SSAE-16 controls for the IT department.

  • Partnered with two additional business technologists to provide business and technology consulting for mid-size organizations. The company grew from 3 clients to 25 over the course of 3 years.

  • Designed and led implementation of wide area network for 20 locations and 400 users.
  • Led the consolidation of 3 ERP systems; Provided value of $800,000 per year.
  • Leadership of a 30 person decentralized IT group.
  • Led the successful implementation of ERP solution in three divisions, system resulted in accessible information, lower inventory values and improved customer service.

Early IT Positions

1983-1996

  • Director of Information Systems for an international beverage and food company
  • Led technical team during implementation of distribution software that serviced 27 sites, system provided annual value of $900,000.
  • Consultant for small to mid size companies in manufacturing, distribution, services, home building and not for profits.
  • Facilitated annual IT summit meeting for key business unit managers.
  • Application backlog reduced from 24 to 6 months as a result of joint planning.
